I used to joke that I had an “anti-Axe effect,” and I’ve always loathed their commercials for the puerile and sophomoric message they deliver (I really hate any advertising campaign that informs me what being a man is really like – beer commercials are by the far the worst for this – mostly because I never fit into their descriptors). So reading this, the rise and fall of their advertising campaign, was strangely reassuring.
